help - 1970 Cutlass wipers stopped working

Although I try to avoid driving this car in the rain very often, it happens and the wipers have always worked just fine... but I just found out the other day that that is no longer the case!

The fuse looks good and when I flip the switch (key on, engine off) I hear a click coming from the general direction of the engine bay, but again no wiper movement.

Dead wiper motor?

It may be the old grease in the wiper transmission, i had the same problem with my Vette. The grease was really hard and had it locked up. After cleaning it and new grease, all is good.

Verify the wiring connector is still plugged into the wiper motor.
