Smile Headlight Switch removal - without disassembling dash

Following up on dash light post, think my problem is headlight switch. Can replacement be done without removing any gauges? If I start trying while laying on my back half in - half out of the car - will I hit a brick wall and curse the day I tried, or is it possible?

Thanks

I've had success with cars that have no a/c. If you can get your hand up there to release the **** and shaft from the switch, then yes.

Should show how on You Tube.....
I take the seats out first if not auto. then push down on a pin sticking up then pull the **** out then the nut on the out side and unplug wire on switch.
