fuse box

the small fuse holder at the bottom of the fuse box is broken. It had a wire plugged into it that looks like it was for my after market tac. one side that holds the fuse for contact is broken off. I think this fuse is for lights acc. Do I need to change the whoke box or is there a way to by pass. Where can I get a new fuse box?

Joe P had a link for replacement clips and Packard terminals. Can't find it at the moment.

My thought is that if the terminals are falling apart that the plastic is brittle and the metal might be corroding and that would make it time to replace the fuse box.

Possibly, he can also cut those wires out of the fuse box if the bakelite is bad in that spot and put an inline fuse to replace it.

If you want a whole fuse panel, you have to replace the entire dash harness. If you just need to replace the metal terminals, Del Mar Wire sells them.

Thank You for the info. They have what I need but I have no idea how to replace the broken one in the fuse box. It looks like some rust was the cause of the one breaking. How can I replace/ Does the whole box have to be removed? Is there somewhere I can get info on repair?

The fuse clips snap into the panel from the back, so you would need to remove the two bolts that hold the panel to the firewall and pull it out enough to do that. Of course, you'll need to cut and re-crimp the wire to that terminal.
