fuel guage

Does the guage normally have a 180 degree sweep.Also is it normal to read out of range from the full to empty marks.(the needle goes way past e and f).What is the spec for the sender resistance thanks.

It prolly depends upon what year and vehicle you are working on.

Sending unit is 0-90Ohms. 90 = Full, 0 = Empty.
