Flasher module location

I appologize in advance for the ignorance. I have a 66 cutlass convertible. Blinders dont work. The obvious solution is to change the flasher. Only problem is I cant find it. Can anyone lend guidance..

I bought the car four years ago. Drove it for the first time last saturday. Making it street legal!

Welcome. Here's your very own thread on the topic. The flasher module is located behind the dashboard, on a pigtail. It's supposed to be inserted in a clip on the back of the dash, but often is just hanging loose. The location is to use the dash as a "speaker" to make the clicking noise easier to hear. Note that there are a number of reasons besides the flasher module that will cause the turn signals not to work.
