Factory Tach. Recalibration?
Factory Tach. Recalibration?
The guy I bought my 70 Olds from told me the factory tach was 1100 RPM off so instead of fixing it he had an aftermarket tach installed.
I want to get the original gauges back in working order.
Looking for recommendations on if and where I should send my Tic/Toc tach to be recalibrated and also have a quartz conversion done on the clock.
Thanks!

I had a HUGE dumbass moment about 25 years ago with my car. I snagged the tach needle on a rag I was using to clean the dial. I bent the crap out of the needle. I sent the tach to a place called to Clock Doc to be rebuilt. They also converted the clock through quart movement, and recalibrated and rebuilt all the other gauges. The tach is pretty accurate, the clock still works flawlessly all for 225. I’m sure the price has gone up since then. I don’t know if they are still around.
Brian, you may try these fellas. I have no idea good or bad, just googling.
