Engine Compartment Wiring Problem

I was wondering if anyone knew what a single plug double brown wire would be for on the engine harness. I have a 1971 442 with the rally pad setup. The double brown wire single plug is on the harness that runs to the temp and oil sensors. I purchased the harness from American auto wire but they have no clue what I'm talking about. Can anyone lend some advice?

is there a stripe on any of those wires?

brown is often light related but could be three other things.

The wires are solid brown. I am wondering if it does not go back in under the dash somewhere or maybe hookup to the AC harness?

My guess is the under hood lamp.
This is from a 1970, but I suspect that they are very close.

Get a VOM or a test light and turn the headlights on and off and see of it gets power.

I found out today from a fellow Oldsmobile genius that this connector is used for the rear defroster. Thanks so much for the help. Now onto the under dash wiring harness. Please pray for patience for me😬😬😬😬
