Electrical connector question on '56 Olds

Does anyone know if this electrical connector from a '56 Olds come apart in away way. I'm trying to remove everything that holds the radiator and ac together and the wires run through the brackets. I don't see how I can disconnect any of the wiring to take it out of the vehicle.

The leads from the turn signal and the headlights just pull out of the connector - the plastic assembly itself does not come apart - just gently pull the wires from as near the connector as you can - they're just male blade connectors and they should slide right out

Of course, if it didn't come apart, it wouldn't be a "connector", it would be a "splice"...

it looked like they were terminals but was too afraid to start yanking on them. 50+ years of being connected may prove challenging.

Back then they didn't realize that they needed locks on the terminals and plugs too. The new stuff has locks to lock the locks!!! Plus frilly little collars to keep the dust and damp out.

I've pulled apart quite a few - even ones that looked like they were salvaged from the Titanic's resting site - and most slide out with ease! If you're reassembling them, buy some electrical contact spray cleaner, 'hose' it out good, and reassemble with a nice smathering of dielectric grease. I always clean the male blade with some emery cloth, and the female slot with a very thin file.

Funny thing, these looked like the same thing. Green growth all over them. Also slid out very easily with some needle nose pliers.
