69 Cutlass S convertible with e windows all of a sudden will not operate. Worked fine the other day and now nothing. Fuse is good but replaced it anyway.

Help with ideas please!

 

Might be your relay is fried. All 4 don't work? Not likely all 4 motors quit at the same time.

 

None of the 4 work. Where the heck is the relay?

 

Follow the wire coming from the IGN connection (lowest one in the middle) on the fuse panel. It should take you up to the relay.

 

Same thing happened to mine. The relay is behind the drivers kick panel near the top. Two screws hold it in place.

You know, it really helps if, when you are working under the dash redoing everything, that you plug the wiring connector for the relay back into the relay itself. DUH!!!

Really goes a long way to make things work again.

Glad to hear it all worked out for you. I had a problem with my blower; it wouldn't work on some speeds, and finally quit all together. I ordered a new blower resistor and then found out the resistor connector had come loose. Same issue - previous work under the dash, but by 'certified' radio installers. Oh well, now I have a spare resistor...

 

DAMN those guys! Were they MECP certified or just certified by the shop? Everyone makes mistakes, it's how well you recover from them that makes the difference.
