Dynamat vs. Peel & Seal

Anybody tried Peel & Seal roofing tape as a cheaper Dynamat alternative?

Nope, but I did try actual fiber-reinforced roofing patch tar once.

I don't recommend it.

In fact, I still have nightmares.

Never use anything asphaly based, unless you love the smell and do not live in a hot area.

With it being 110* in the shade here in TX, I can smell my asphalt roof smoking in the sun any place in the yard! Hope it doesn't ignite. Stupid weather we have here...
