Dome Light Contacts

1969 442 Holiday Coupe

Dome light contacts are rusted--looking for replacement options. I did a thread search but didn't come up with anything for the contacts, specifically.

Any help is much appreciated.

Door jamb switches can be had at your local parts store, or rockauto, amazon, ebay, or any GM resto source.

If you looking for the electrical contacts for the actual bulb, I can’t recall Seeing anyone reproducing them of selling them. Doesn’t mean they aren’t available. If you can’t find new, go to your nearest auto salvage yard. Pretty sure lots of later model GM cars used the same dome lamp bulbs, and the same electrical terminals.

Thanks. Switch is fine, just need the contacts. They are crusty rusty and my wife is bitchin that she can't see at night.

Wow, I really misread that one. I would clean your current contacts really well and then coat them with a little dielectric grease to keep them from corroding farther.

Update: The contacts were so bad they weren't cleanable, even with a wire brush. I ended up modifying a couple of spark plug wire contacts to the "general" shape, and it's on and working well.
