Dome lamp stay open
The dome light is controlled by the door pin switches and the rheostat switch built into the headlight switch. There is a constant 12v on the dome light and all the switches supply the ground side of the circuit. If its not the headlight switch manually activating the light, pull the kick panels and disconnect the wires until the light goes out with the doors closed, that will be the bad switch.
