Seems like I have the “AMC style” of point plate in my Delco distributor then. I will ask the guy at workshop if he can find a “Chevy style”. In that case I might lift up my distributor an swap plates.
Lucky for me it’s just a “hobbycar” that I intend to use under the short season may-sept here in Sweden.

You have the correct plate for your distributor. AMC just uses the same one. Don't swap anything. Personally, I'd return that Pertronix unit.
The guy at workshop gave me an old distributor (junk) he had laying around, with the “Chevy” breaker plate. So I decided to do the swap. At the same time I added a shims washer from his to mine, hade too much axial play on mine. The Pertronix Ignitor was now a easy bolt on.
The car started right away and sounds much better now. For now I’m satisfied and don’t regret the swap, lets hope it stays that way 😊
