dash wiring harness

dash wiring harness
is the dash wiring harness for a 1980 cutlass the same as a dash wiring harness in a cutlass calais 1980. the calais has the rally pac gauges but other than that are they the same? i found a 1980 cutlass at the wrecking yard and the harness looked ok. i tried to looking up wiring harnesses online but they stop at 76 and i don't think they are the same.

why the dash won't work
in my 1980 olds cutlass calais the dash worked intermittantly and i couldn't figure it out until i took the whole dash out and found the ground wires underneath broken and rusty like the rest of the dash. so now i need to derust the metal parts and fix the ground wires i put new ign switch in and a new dimmer switch and a new headlight switch as well as a fan speed switch and select switch because they were cheap. now just a new wiring harness for the engine compartment( the old one was melted then hacked together)
then on to the vacume lines they are getting old and crunchy
oh well a little at a time maybe this summer i will have a/c as well.
