Dash A.C. & Heater ground wires

I am putting my dash back together after about a year of being apart. I had marked all of the connections when I disassembled it except for where the ground wires connect. Do they need to be in a specific place or can they be connected to any screw that is connected to the metal dash? Any help would be greatly appreciated

There should be several metal straps that connect various componets to ground with the dash mounting studs. As long as you've got a good ground I don't think it would make a difference in the location. John

Here's an old thread that shows pictures from two different dashes. Since you've got yours out already this may not help much, but you might compare the grounding straps and the one picture that shows a ground wire attached.

Thanks for the thread. I remember seeing this awhile back when I first took my dash out and couldn't find it when putting it back in. This helps, because I was most concerned about the heater and ac controls and these pics show it real clear. Thanks again!!!
