Installing a console into a 1971 Cutlass Supreme Conv that did not come with the console. Where do I plug the console extension harness into ?
the new harness looks to be set up so I unplug an existing plug and plug this into it along with the plug that I just unplugged. Any clues would be appreciated.

 

The extension harness plugs into the dash harness right behind where the clock/tach/clock blank would be. If you do not have the optional courtesy light package, you just plug it right in & run it down behind the floor heater vent & plug it into the console harness. If you DO have the courtesy light package, you unplug that harness & plug your new harness in & then connect the courtesy light harness into the pigtail on the extension harness.
