Coil Connections

There are two connectors coming from the main harness that connect to the coil. One connector has 1 wire and the other connector has 2 wires. Which one goes to positive or negative on the coil? I have the Distributor wire on the negative side. Condenser wire on the positive side. I marked the wires but the tape came off.

1972 Olds 350/350.

The two-wire terminal goes on the pos side. I'm thinking the last wire is the tach, need wire color to confirm, goes to neg side.

The power wires (from starter and ignition switch) go to the "+" side of the coil. The black wire from the distributor goes to the "-" side of the coil. If you have a tach, that wire also goes to the "-" side.
