Choke/Oil Light on
Choke/Oil Light on
I don't know anything about these newer quadrajets. I was trying to start the '87 Buick (I may have flooded it?) and didn't succeed. The Choke/Oil light came on too.
The choke seems to be closed. I checked the power to the alternator and it has good voltage, yes the belt is on.
I also notice that when I turn the key to on position i hear a "click."
Waited a bit, it wanted to start but didn't run.
I am stumped. I have no clue what is going on other than theres a choke problem. I know nothing about the newer quadrajets.
ALSO, it has a hot-air choke.
EDIT:
It started, and the light comes off when it is running. But it is on in the on position.
