Can Anyone ID This Oldsmobile 8 Track Player?

I'm cleaning out the garage and came across this 8 track player still in the shipping box from buying it off eBay forever ago. No clue what Oldsmobile model this was original to. I know it isn't the right one for my Vista Cruiser. I guess I bought the wrong one from a "no returns" seller. (I later got the correct one for her.) There are no labels on it. Anyone know what model this unit is correct for? Thanks!

Looking at the face plate, I would guess 69-72 Cutlass. The '68 has a brushed silver face plate.

That's the style I know it isn't. This is wider than the one in my Vista Cruiser and asymmetrical around the mounts. The Cutlass/Vista is symmetrical.

you can reproduction faceplates to match the trim, other than that, there is really no difference for the mentioned years. I believe yours is a 1970, but worth confirmation

I bet there is a part number on it somewhere. That would be a good clue.

That Toronado housing was even smaller than the A body version.

Must be '68 full-size (with the wrong applique). '69/'70 full-size used the woodgrain applique but had a different padded piece.
