Broken wire on hazard switch.

On a 1968 Olds 98 with tilt telle, cornering lights, the hazard switch is part of the car and not part of the turn signal switch. This being said I have a blue wire coming from the hazard switch that is at the moment not connected to anything. Does anyone know where the other end connects to? It does not go down the column and is short enough to only be able to connect on one of the points on the turning light switch. Maybe a ground. With this wire disconnected the hazard lights do not work.
Thanks, Rex

The '68 service manual wiring schematic shows a short blue wire going from the hazard switch to the right hand signal lug on the turn signal switch, I think?
I'm not real good at deciphering the hieroglyphics on those schematics, good thing they're in color or I'd be totally lost.

If you register at Wild About Cars Online they have the chassis service manual available for viewing in the downloads section.
It's in the first chassis electrical section.
