Bad Ground video

Let's see if this link works

http://vid19.photobucket.com/albums/...psab9uuqc4.mp4

no "insert video" feature so just use the above link I guess

Known poor ground- the vehicle is being assembled and I was getting just the starter to work. Some loads within the body were trying to get ground thru any and all paths.

The sparking was MUCH more pronounced when I was wrenching the rag joint, but in order to get the video I had to use only 1 hand on the tools. That's a socket and ratchet on the RH side of the rag joint bolt.

This is why all correct factory ground paths must be intact and doing their job.

You can also get electrical travel over the outside of a dirty battery where it travels from the positive post through the dirt and then to ground. Easily measurable with a volt meter.
