1972 Old/Hurst Pace Car blower Motor

I have a heater and AC blower motor all of the sudden go out on me. Neither the heater or AC work anymore. Do I need a new blower motor and blower motor connection 3 or 4 connector? I notice RockAuto has both of these. Is this a pretty easy installation? Any help much appreciated.

Do you have a service manual and a test light. The flow chart in the manual will help you diagnose the issue! 25 amp fuse, bad ground, wiring?

First, the blower motor has a single wire connector. The three or four wire connectors are for the motor speed resistor. Understand what you are buying before spending money.

As for accessing the motor, it is hidden under the passenger side fender. At a minimum you need to remove the inner fender for access. The A/C box is fiberglass, so the blower motor has a separate ground wire since the 'glass box doesn't provide a ground path. It is possible that either the ground or power wire is bad, or the motor itself. This assumes that the blower does not work in any speed position.
