Always hot?

Is the wire the feeds power to the dash clock on a '72 Supreme under constant 12v, or only when the key is on?

The orange wire under the dash is always hot. It feeds the clock, dome light, and similar items that are always powered.

A clock that isn't running is at least accurate twice a day.

A man with one clock knows what time it is.

A man with two clocks is never sure.

And I have way more than two! I set a digital wristwatch by the NIST time signal from Ft Collins CO every Friday morning using my transistorized Zenith TransOceanic, then reset clocks as needed when I wind them or replace batteries. The Williamson clock, a 138 year old Ingraham keywind with alarm, keeps time to within a minute a week.

It's wild when the 9 chimers all sound off within seconds of each other. They'll do that for about 4 days and then get out of sync till next winding.

And yeah, I set the car clocks by that same NIST time signal.
