After market Cruise control

Not sure if this is the correct section for this thread but ... http://www.rostra.com/universal-afte...-by-rostra.php any thoughts, feedback experiences with this? I would like to add cruise to a non existing cruise 72 vert but after some reading it sounds like factory cruise would be difficult to acquire this is the only aftermarket I’ve seen

I've installed the universal unit on two different vehicles. A '55 Chevy with an Ididit steering column and a '70 Chevelle with an original column. I used the 3020 control switch and ran the wire down the inside of the column. The '55 has a LS1 drivetrain so I used the VSS signal from the computer. I installed the weights on the driveshaft for the Chevelle. Both work great and no complaints from the customer. The only issue was adjusting the surge out after the install but the instructions are pretty easy to follow to make it work correctly. I plan on installing one on my '71 vert once I get it finished. Good luck!

I just finished putting in a Dakota Digital cruise with the GM type turn signal lever in my 1972 Cutlass Supreme. It works great, took about a day. Would advise getting the RLY-1 relay also as mine needed it because the wiring is so bad in my car and the kit is very sensitive. The instructions were adequate but being in my late 60s it's hard to go under the dash etc. I like this cruise as it doesn't have the old vacuum actuater. just a small box under the hood.

Sorry to keep blasting you with questions but does that all come with the kit? - I guess a long story short ... did your kit come with everything you need? The crs 2000-3

The CRS2000-3 comes as a kit, the only extra is the relay, Part #RLY-1 which I needed for my application.

There's plenty of part numbers but Rostra's the only manufacturer. It's all the same junk.

I just got done installing the Rostra cruise on my 72 Cutlass today. Works great, used the turn signal switch and speedo cable pulse generator. I ended up with 6000 ppm, extra low gain, 8 cyl low, sine input, NC.
