AC Control Panel- Chrome handles- 69 Hurst

I have 69 Hurst and I am working on the AC system. I have pulled out the AC control panel and I am thinking of having it re-chromed. How do the chrome handles come off the slider controls?

I believe they just pull off.

Isn't there a tiny set screw on the bottom. I just had some in a little baggie w/ the car I bought. Don't know where they are right now, but recall seeing this.
