92 toronado
92 toronado
I have a 92 toronado. Every time it rains real hard the interior lights come on by themselves. I have no water coming into the car at all. Does the hornet go through the cow section out into the engine compartment? I’m wondering if water is going down and shorting something out. Any help from anybody?
You can check the weather stripping on your hood. Use a garden hose and spray water at the base of your windshield/cowl. There are a number of Maxi fuses on the firewall that could be getting wet.
Also, you should probably post a pic. 92 was the 2nd best year for the Toronado, right after 66.

Look for water intrusion in the pillar area where the door switches are located. If water were to cause one to short that would complete the circuit and turn on the lights as if the door had been opened and the switch had closed the circuit.
