Can anyone post some pics of the original wiring routing on the trunk lid? Need to see how it is secured to the hinge area and at the latch connector.

I just parted one out of a 70 and these are the few pics I took. There are two clips that were on the wire but not attached. I think one attaches to the back seat divider and the other to the hinge somehow. Not perfect but hopefully it helps get you closer.

Thanks Jeff! Looks like I routed mine wrong but I can fix it... I need to find some clips like that now..
