72 Cutlass flasher problem

Hi. New member, have owned 2 Cutlass's since the 70's

My 72 recently started flashing the signal lights very quickly. All lights are working, so I assume it's the flasher. I wanted to check the part number on the current flasher, but when I checked the fuse box, it's not there. There is what appears to be a receptacle for a flasher, but it's empty.

Has anyone got any ideas where I can find it? Or if there is a thread on this? I didn't scroll through all the pages.

Thanks
Giovi

There are two flasher units: one in the fuse panel for the hazard lights, and one under the dash near the steering column for the turn signals.

That's excellent, I will try to locate the turn signal one.

Thanks to both of you for the info. I found and replaced it.
