72 CS starting problems...

My 72 CS isn't wanting to start, I get nothing from starter so I took it off and had it tested at local auto parts store and it passed. So I'm trying to figure out what's wrong now that thw starter is fine. I tried starting the car in neutral and did nothing. My cables are tight on the battery posts with a charged battery also... What should I look at next?

I would look at the neutral safety starter switch on the bottom of the steering column. Make sure its in park/neutral. jumper the 2 purple wires and turn the key.

The wiring diagram for your car.

Do that and you'll see the purple wire that runs from the "S" terminal on the starter solenoid through the firewall connector to the neutral safety switch to the ignition switch and from there to power. Figure out where in that circuit power is interrupted and fix it. Problem solved.
