71'Olds Street/strip rewire

Ok just want to start by saying I'm totally overwhelmed by wiring! I would rather pay someone who knows what they are doing but I can't afford that. I bought a 25 circuit kit from painless wiring but I know it will need to be modified to work with my setup.

The car currently runs a 502/th-400 with transbrake, (I am switching over to a BBO/TH-400) nitrous, 6AL ignition and a 2 step. In the engine compartment it runs a 1 wire alternator and msd billet distributor and not much else. I want the car to go back on the street again so it needs the wipers/washer hooked back up and all the normal stuff to be road worthy.

I need help putting a control board together to run the car and put it in an accessible area but not on the passenger floor like it is now. Any help would be appreciated!

If you pull your dash you may realize there is more room under there than you think. Its also easier to run and attach the harness/s.

Yeah I was thinking of putting it behind the glovebox. I am replacing the dash as well so yes it will be easy to wire it in that respect. I want this to be as clean as possible with room for upgrades if needed. Interior wise I don't plan on going hog wild! I want a stock tach/dash setup with a shift light and normal add on engine instrumentation in the regular types of locations. The new big block will not have nitrous but I do want to be able to keep it wired for future use. Does anyone have pics or ideas?
