70-2 console light switch?

70-2 console light switch?

i did not see any reproduction of these switches anywhere. what do people do for them. i have not looked but will a door jamb switch work?

Hi there! I'm surprised you haven't had an answer yet....anyways, a door jamb switch only has one lead because the switch body itself is grounded by screwing into the body. You could use one, but you would have to rig a way to ground it.

You could use a ring terminal like this and a nut to hold it to the back of the switch, then run a wire to ground or tie it into the ground wire of the console harness.

Or you might get lucky and find a two-terminal switch. Maybe take the old one in to a parts place and see if they can match it.
