my cigarette lighter burn't and melted the wiring years ago. I replaced it with a generic one. I am now restoring the car and purchased one to install for the restoration. The only problem is the lighter is stuck in the assembly . Does any one know how to remove it.

Had that happen before, I sprayed WD-40 and was able to get it free hope that helps
