I have a 67 cutlass sup. and I want to replace the dash bulb for the parking brake indicator. It's in a little 'cup' so I wonder how the bulb is removed. Any ideas?

 

I believe the chrome bezel and lense just unscrew from the front side of the dash.

 

It comes out from behind. You push and twist to remove and then the same for the lamp. There is a spring in the assembly to keep pressure on the bezel in the dash. Be careful as these fall apart easily...

 

say your post on light, do you have any pics on how it holds. my son took it out when replaced dash pad and doesn't remember how to put back, can't find spring. see where bulb turns in holder like rear bulbs but can;t figure out how it holds red lense in

 

I believe the red lens just pop's in place. If it will not stay in, use a small spot of clear RTV or contact cement to hold it.
