67 Cutlass Directional Connection

Hey guys, I want to remove the directional connection from the housing, I pulled on it a bit and it felt spring loaded, after that I left it alone.

Figured I better ask first, is there a correct way to remove this...

Step away from the directional...

That is not a "connector" and removing it will destroy the light housing. There should be a plastic two-wire connector further down the wire pigtail.

Thanks Joe! Yeah thats what I did lastnight when I felt I was doing something wrong.

I will check for the connector, wires are wrapped in tape so I really didn't see anything, but I will look again.

12:47pm - Yeah, I was tired lastnight, just checked and the connector is larger than life.

I didn't want to say anything, but I think you can even see it in the photo you posted.
