56 Ignition Coil Picture Needed

56 Super 88- I'm missing the bracket for the ignition coil, and I don't think it's a good idea for the coil to be sitting on top of the engine for a long period of time. Can someone shoot a picture of what the bracket is supposed to look like and where it's supposed to go? I can find one on-line once I know that it looks like. Thanks, Frank

Yep, that would do it. By the way is that engine stuck or anything? I've had people ask if I knew where a good runner or a rebuildable 324 was ....Tedd

I think I still have that coil bracket Frank. If your interested send me a PM

Tedd, its not stuck but I've pulled the heads and sold odds and ends from it. The short block is still complete and if you found someone interested in that send them my way. I had both knees replaced Feb 4th so I'm not mobile enough to pull the motor at this time, but am on the mend.

Last month there was someone on the local Craigslist who had two complete 303 or 324 engines plus extra parts. I'll look to see if I can find that again. John

Thanks 2blu442 I feel your pain, I mean I really feel your pain, I'm still gimping around from my knee replacement about 9 weeks ago. It will get better but it sure takes awhile. I'll keep your parts in mind....Tedd
