Question 21st Century dah

I am wondering about putting a digital dash in my '72 Cutlass. Is there someone out there who've tried this yet? If so, what were the obstacles you encountered/overcame?
Thanks for all replies.

Be careful what you wish for. Digital dashes came and went in the 1980s. Visibility in daylight is the biggest problem. This will be a totally custom installation. No one makes kits.

Thanks for the info. I had one in my 86 T-bird, and due to the dark tinted windows I had no issues seeing it. I've seen that Dakota Digital has this one http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd625.htm
and it looks as if it's a bolt-in. I'll have to call them when I'm not at work.
If anyone is familiar with them please chime in.
