1979 GM wiper motor into 1971 delta 88
Hi folks, I have a 1979 Caprice Classic intermittent wash wipe wiper motor and switch to install into a friends 1971 Delta 88.
There are 7 wires from the switch;
White
Orange
Dark Green
Light Blue
Dark Blue
Black
Black/White
I was under the impression that the +ve was fed directly to the motor and the switch just connected the -ve as required but the motor has 7 terminals.
Can anybody tell me which of the 7 terminals on the wiper motor they attach to, or which colour wire is in each position if there is a change in the loom.
Thanks in advance
Brent

Update - corrected diagram!
That's what I get for testing out of the car. DOH!
If the local +ve feed to the switch stays live after the main Wiper circuit is disconnected the previous diagram allowed the wiper motor to operate even if the switch was off.
cheers
