Does anyone know how to remove it. I think there is a contact problem behind the button. Any help would be great!! Also, does anyone know where I can obtain downloadable wiring schematics? Thanks again, Brian
Which kind of steering wheel?

It just pops off. A spring tension type clip holds it in place.

NO !!! Just use your fingers. Screwdriver could slip scratch something etc. This thing just pops right off. Get your fingers under the edge and pull up...presto it comes right off..NO TOOLS ! I don't want you to experience the bad luck I have, by using tools when they are not necessary and just end up scraping, stabbing, or cutting parts that never needed anything other than just a simple tug. Hopefully my misfortune can turn out to be a positive help for you.

Use a piece of wood or plastic, like a paint stir stick. Alternately, wrap your screwdriver in electrical tape first.
