Good Morning

If anyone has replaced the AC harness in a 70 442 Convertible...To get the harness to the cars interior under the dash.. Does the dash or anything else need to be removed? The engine compartment looks pretty straightforward.. Im looking for some advice on how to proceed before I even attempt it..
