1968 Radio

Hey, I was just wondering if the radios used on the cutlass, 442 and delta 88 were all basically the same? I was thinking about getting this stereo for my delta 88 http://www.jcwhitney.com/chrome-mode...4d11911y1968j1 but it says they do not have it for the delta 88 but they do have it for a 442 and I was thinking it's probably the same.

**** spacing and nosepiece dimensions were pretty much the same for all GM radios in the 60s. An aftermarket job like this should fit in your Delta dash just fine, as aftermarket AM-FM-8T and cassette radios did for many years.

The factory radios were troublesome to interchange because of differences in heat sink placement. One for a big car would usually hit something behind the dash of a A-body.
