1968 442 wiring- rally pack and such

Going through the dash and wiring for next season... Just want to make sure the wiring for the rally pack is correct. The fuel gauge is off by 1/4 of a tank- which may be the sender.
Rally pack- I am looking at all of the diagrams and want to make sure it's pinned correctly.
Pin 1 - gray
Pin 2- open
Pin 3- Tan
Pin 4- blue white
Pin 5- tan white
Pink 6- pink
Space
Pin 7- brown
Pin 8- dark green

Thank you!

I believe the 1968 Rally Pack wiring diagram is located in the Accessory section of the 1968 CSM? I do not know - I don't own the 1968 CSM. Additionally, I'm making no inferences which might reflect a 1967 Rally Pack wiring is the same or similar to a 1968 Rally Pack wiring diagram. I am simply offering/providing previously posted information which might possibly assist in addressing (perhaps) some Rally Pack wiring history which may provide somewhat useful. Good Luck. Others will hopefully reach out to validate for you.

The Rallye Pac Wiring diagram is Figure 15-59 on page 15-31 of the 68 CSM but from what I remember it's incorrect. What Randy posted above is correct.

I have a digital version of the CSM but the resolution isn't good enough to tell one way or the other.

Mike- I think Randy was agreeing with me that the wiring looks correct.. Unless I have to just flip the plug around? That is where the confusion is.. On the diagram Randy posted, the idiot light is 6 slots, then a space, then 2 slots. On the rally pack diagram, it's "flipped"- 2 slots, space, the 6 slots in a row. If that is the case, then ALL of the wires are wrong! I have a bunch of different diagrams and now have no idea which one is right! Although at least 1 is right, as the gauge lights up when the lights are on... LOL

Yours looks correct.

Did you remove the green wire at the key?

I'll see if I can get a pic behind my Rally Gauge tonight.

This is an idiot light gauge for reference:

Edit, Found this pic in a CO for sale post. It appears to be wired the same as yours

The connector is flipped over when converting from idiot lights to gauges. But the wires also have to be re-positioned from idiot lights to gauges. The diagram I posted has been around since the late 1980s. It is the diagram I used to reposition the wires on my '68 when I converted from idiot lights to gauges. It appears to me that nooldsyet's positioning of the connector and wires is correct for gauges. You also have to change the coolant temperature and oil pressure sender units as well from idiot lights to gauges or the gauges won't work. The green wire at the ignition serves as a "check circuit" for the temp idiot light - that's why the "TEMP" idiot light comes on for a few seconds before going out when you engage the ignition. If that stays connected, what it will do is "peg" your tachometer all the way to 7000 for a few seconds before steadying out at the engine RPM.
