ok so I know the tach goes to the RH post but I am not sure where to get the battery feed for the left post. I just got my clock fixed and when I energize the orange wire it is working , The grey wire is for the dash lights any help would be appreciated.
Not sure who put those marking on, but that is NOT how they are wired. The terminal labled "bat" gets the orange wire you have hooked to the top. That copper spade terminal the wire is connected to is supposed to be attathed to the "bat" terminal between the nuts. The top post is ground. If you have the case properly grounded, I am supprised you did not blow a fuse on the orange wire. The reason the red plastic isolators are on the "bat" and "Ign" wires is to keep them from touching the grounded case. The dash light wire goes where you have it. The "ign" post gets connected to the tach signal feed (- side of the coil for points or "tach" terminal on the cap of an HEI).
loaded68w34,
ok I will check it out tomorrow if the center post is a ground your right it should of sparked or blew a fuse, but i powered up the orange wire add grounded the case and the clock was working..I got this dash just like this so its been confusing me since the spade connector is on the wrong post. thanks for your reply and assistance I will let you know how it goes
'69 is the same as '68. The blade belongs on the terminal marked "BAT" for your TTT. The brown wire goes to the (-) side of your coil. Orange is hot 12V whether or not the ignition is on. Grey is the dash lights.

Reason: add wire color info
yes it is very helpful, today I switched the spade terminal to the proper "Bat" terminal and it works fine now. Just curious whats the silver flasher looking thing on the back of your speedometer?
That is the buzzer for the speed warning speedometer. You adjust the white needle (see speedometer in the set I posted pics of) to the speed limit you want to stay under. Once the orange needle gets to the white needle, the buzzer goes off.
