Greetings Oldsmobile fans. The turn signals on my 1965 Starfire convertible just failed. Stalk is loose and does not activate signals. I believe there is a plastic piece inside the steering wheel as I (actually my mechanic) had to replace the same item on my first one about 50 years ago. Anyone know the part # and where to get one? Thanks.

This is a complex parts search since things are different between standard wheel, tilt wheel and whether car has cornering lamps or Boyne or Guide switch. Easier just to post the sections from 11/73 parts book.
