I have a 55 S88 Holiday sedan with power seats. Fusick lists 2 way and 6 way switches, but mine is a 4 way (5 prongs - 1 power, 4 directional). This is definately the factory set up - it's a well optioned car and all wiring is in factory harness, etc...

Bottom line is that I need a switch - or my existing one rebuilt. Anyone out there know of someone who can repair this...or anyone who may have a replacement? Again, it's for 1955, 4-way power seat.

Try ebay. I saw one there a few days ago. I use their search with the words 1955 Oldsmobile parts.You might add switch to narrow it down. I don't remember if it was 4 way or 6.... Tedd

Alan Kriss in NJ used to rebuild power window and seat switches as well as tube radios and Autronic Eyes. I'll have to look to find his contact info.

 

I think he runs an add in JWO...I was planning on calling him since I'll need all those things rebuilt
