Post 1953 Olds 88 Engine Temp, Gas, and Battery guage not working

Hi everyone,

Hope you guys can point me in the right direction with some advice on how to fix a problem. The temp, gas and battery guages are not working. However, the oil guage, and speedometer are working just fine. Could this simply be a fuse issue? I'm not familiar with the wiring or fuse layout of the 53 olds. Whats a good start to narrow this fix down?

Thanks!
Lee

I have no idea about a 53 but, I do know there is a fuse on the 55's that are inside the light switch. Really small about 1/2 long glass buss fuse. not sure of the amps though. The Speedo and Oil do not use electric power.

Checked the fuse at the light switch and it was good. Also, changed the fuse to the instrument panel from the ignition switch It was also still good but had a new one. Still do not have working guages. What am I missing??

Managed to get everything working. Wire was split and loose and one of the fuses was out. All good.
