1935 F35.....positive to ground or ???
Just recently bought a 1935 F35. I'm new to the older iron. I had it at a cruise night last night (on the trailer, still working through some issues with it sitting for years) and someone asked me if it is a positive to ground system. Pretty soon we had several people in the discussion. Should the ground go to the positive or negative side of the battery? This may sound basic but it was quite a point of discussion. The voltage regulator is not hooked up at this time. Horn, headlights, starter work (with positive wire to positive side of battery and negative side to ground on frame). Thannks for any advice.

While I don't know the answer, it would seem that the correct operation (direction) of the starter motor would tell you the answer.
If unsure, you could ask the man who owns one.

Or buy the book:

The book will be valuable for other things anyway.
