to buy or not?

I've found a complete NOS cruise control setup in the box for '70s Oldsmobile's, wanted the option for a while. GM part number is correct for my Delta.

What is the general consensus on how much is a reasonable amount to pay for a 40+ y.o. cruise setup? Is 600 unrealistic?
Will cost me more with shipping and exchange rate.

If this were for a 62 starfire it would be worth upwards of two grand so a complete cruise setup for your car at 600 I would consider fair in price.I purchased a complete system for a 63 full size still in the box 20 years ago for 500 bucks.

Thanks. I was trying to workout if it would be worth finding all the bits probably separately, reconditioning everything then this one complete in the box pops up. I recon its a lot less hassle and money to get the nos one. It would probably need some tlc anyway.
I was also thinking of a modern cruise setup I could get one fitted for around 350, not the same tho.

While I agree with the others who say that this is probably a reasonable price, personally, $600 buys an awful lot of holding-my-foot-steady on the gas pedal!
