79 Delta 88 in junkyard

Here in beautiful Southern Virginia I still see fewer older cars hit the junkyards and it is always sad. Most everything down here isnt rusted or rotted away and the 77-79 Delta 88 or Ninety Eights are harder to find. Luckily I found one recently and this one was a 79 Royale coupe. I bought a few small parts including a perfectly used original EGR valve which is impossible to locate. A week later some guys bought the 350 engine out so I took a picture of the car. I got my 78 Delta running back to specs with my replaced EGR valve and used my Sears Engine Analyzer, and then vacuum checked it with my vintage gauge. It appears to be running right on specs and instant power.

I almost bought one just like that, same year too.

Pontiac 301 couldn't stay running more than 5 minutes though

Slick top sedan.

Don't see too many of those.

Don't be afraid to let that 79 see some light too.
