Where is the fuse panel located on a '72 Delta 88? Looks like it's on the lower part of the dash to the left of the steering wheel?

Don't mention it, but if you get a copy of the Chassis Service Manual, the Fisher Body Manual, and the Owner's Manual, you'll only have to ask the hard questions.

The CSM and the FBM are available for free from WildAboutCars, but its best to buy hard copies on eBay (not too expensive, especially if you wait and watch).

Unfortunately, Wild About Cars has Fisher Body Manuals only through the 1970 model year. If you want one for 1972, ebay is the place to go. There are many there.

Doesn't matter. For A-bodies, the '70 is essentially the same as '71 and '72.
For B- and C-bodies, you need the '71 manual.

Thanks, I'll take a look at that. Just tonight one of the rear quarter windows came off the frame or whatever it's called. I'm going to visit that tomorrow and I may be posting a new thread.

 

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha....How many folks on this site have those books for their respective cars and still ask here....FWIW the FBM isn't one of the reference books that gets a lot of use from my library. It just doesn't have the best details that many are looking for. My copy is an original and the pictures/diagrams blow the scanned ones the repop books use out of the water. I've used it maybe 5 times to look up info in the past 8 years. The CSM and AM on the other hand are synonymous with being Bibles to the hobby.


You forgot the Cutlass Assembly Manual - it would show the fuse block in the same place for the B/C cars.

The Cutlass Assembly Manual is for an entirely different body series, and while very clear and specific for the Cutlass, is nearly useless for the B- and C-bodies.
I didn't mention it for a reason.

I understand that. I was just saying it's in the same general vicinity, after all - the fuse block diagram in the CSM says it's for 'all models'. I wouldn't dream of telling someone to use the Cutlass AM as a reference to route the wiring of their Delta or Ninety Eight.
