Thanks pic is a little blurry but I can definitely tell the setup in brighter then stock and looks good.......I'm surprised it still has that stock color look and not more blue too it.

Did you also do new bulbs in HVAC and rally pack gauges?

Yeah, I have the Silverstars in the entire dash.

It is an inprovment over stock. When I bought the car, only one dash light was working in the speedo and the lighter light was out.

Althought they all look different, they are all the same bulb. Some are 168 and some are 194. Both are listed on websites and it says to pull the bulb to see the correct size

Looks great! Is there an easier way to change the lights in the speedometer that doesn't involve removing the entire dash and steering column?

You don't have to remove the column. After you get the panels off, it's not really in the way

This pic was taken with my iPhone. I don't like taking night pics with my ditigal camera, I have a simple "point and shoot" one

Never really got around to buying my "good" ditigal camrea yet

Change bulbs

Went to change dash bulbs, could not get the light **** off to remove the panel, could not screw the off ****. How does the light switch **** come off?

There is a small slot in the backside of the headlamp **** that gives you access to a small metal tab.

Use a very small screwdriver or similar to press that tab in to release the **** from the shaft.

That's the easiest way to get the **** off.

Another possible way ... but one that may be more difficult for some depending upon arm size - flexibility - possible stuff in the way up & behind the dash etc etc etc is :

Most shaft style headlamp switches I've ever seen also have a small spring loaded button on them ..... that when pressed - should allow the whole entire shaft/**** assembly to be removed as one from the headlamp switch itself.

Whether or not these particular headlamp switches have that small button or not ... I can't recall.

If in fact they do ... how easy it is for the average person the get to it - would be another consideration.

As long as you have something small enough to fit into the slot on the **** .....

The 1st method is really the easiest IMHO ... even if the 2nd were a possibility.
